Pre-CanSkate:Due to COVID-19, our club is not able to run Pre-Canskate Programs this year.
CanSkate:Our programming for CanSkate will look different this year. CanSkate will only be running beginning in January 2021. It is only open to those children who have previously skated and are able to skate on their own and get up from the ice by themselves if they fall down. They would be working in the CanSkate program at Stage 2 and higher.

We believe that a child who learns to skate not only gains the confidence that comes with new skills, but will be able to enjoy the sport for a lifetime. These programs are taught by nationally certified coaches trained specifically in teaching the mechanics and proper technique of skating, and offer a complete series of balance, control and agility skills that will help prepare skaters for any ice skating sport or recreational skating. Some of the Club’s more experienced skaters become trained Program Assistants and provide on-ice support to coaches and skaters during their sessions.
The PreCanSkate program is for children 3-5 years of age. Classes are 30 minutes in length.
