Program Announcement:

STARSkate: We are excited to announce that StarSkate classes are beginning the week of October 13, 2020 at Memorial Arena.

STARSkate offers opportunities for skaters of all ages to develop fundamental figure skating skills in the areas of ice dance, skating skills, free skate and interpretive skating. Unique in Canada, this program teaches figure skating skills in a group and/or private lesson format in a progressive and sequential manner and includes specifically designed awards and incentives. Skaters have the opportunity to take Skate Canada Tests through a nationally standardized testing system. Skaters who have mastered figure skating skills in StarSkate may also choose to pursue synchronized skating or pairs skating.

Additional Star Skate Information

Skaters may purchase additional ice time outside of those sessions already registered for, or skaters from outside of the Chatham Skating Club may purchase ice time on club ice.  This additional ice time is dependent on availability.  Skaters must register and pay through the Uplifter registration system prior to skating.  The previous system of dropping in for a session and paying using "Guest Fee" envelopes found on the music cart is no longer in place.  Skaters who do not register ahead of time for extra ice will not be allowed on the ice for any reason.

Group C

  • For skaters who have advanced from CanSkate. Must have passed Stage 6 or on recommendation from Coach or Director
  • Will be organized, paid and facilitated between Skater, Parent/Family and Professional Coach

Test Days

Test Days will be announced through coaches, newsletters, communication board, and on the web site.
