CSC Refund Policy - Updated and Approved March 8, 2023

1.  All withdrawal requests must be made to the Club email at skaters@chathamskatingclub.com.

2.  The Skate Canada fee, the Skate Ontario fee, and the Chatham Skating Club (CSC) Administration fee are non-refundable in all circumstances.

3.  Any program withdrawal request received at the Club email prior to the program start date will be approved. The program fee will be refunded to a credit card or applied as a credit to the member’s Uplifter account, whichever is preferred by the member.  

4.  For PreCanSkate, CanSkate and CanPowerSkate programs: Withdrawal requests received at the Club email before the start of the third session will receive a credit card refund for all unused sessions in the program. Withdrawal requests received after the third session will not normally be approved for refund or credit. However, the Board of Directors at its discretion may make an exception.

5.  For StarSkate programs: Withdrawal requests received after a program start date will be given a credit on the member’s account. However, the Board of Directors in its discretion may make an exception and approve a refund.

6.  If a participant is unable to attend one or more scheduled sessions there will be no opportunity for make-up sessions, and credit card refunds or credits to the member’s account will not be provided.

7.  Withdrawal requests due to injury may require a doctor’s note.  

 

Chatham Skating Club Change Policy

All programs:

1.  All requests to change the day, time, or type of program a skater is registered in must be made by email to skaters@chathamskatingclub.com.  

2. Each change request is subject to a $15.00 change fee except for changes initiated by the CSC.

3. When the CSC initiates a change for a skater from one level to another during a program season there will be no change fee. The value of the sessions remaining in the first program will be used toward the cost of the sessions remaining in the second.
