President’s WelcomeOn behalf of the Chatham Figure Skating Club Board of Directors and Coaches I wish to extend a warm welcome back to our new and existing members. We are gearing up for another exciting season. This year for our starskate and competitive skaters we have introduced a fund raising deposit aimed at increasing our volunteers and reducing our costs. In order to ensure we keep our costs down we need to fund raise and we do this by hosting competitions, booster club and supporting operation red nose. This year the Chatham Figure Skating Club will host two Syncro Competition events January 22-24 and March 19-21. The volunteer work is fun, easy and it is an excellent way to meet members of the skating club. Our club offers quality professional coaching and has been the home to many accomplished skaters and growing! We offer CanSkate, StarSkate, Syncro, Adult CanSkate and Adult Power Skate. One of our newest programs aimed at skaters who are nearing the completion of the CanSkate program is Group SkarSkate. Our Group StarSkate session is a great introduction to figure skating and will offers group instruction in dance and freeskate. For information regarding club activities, ice time changes, cancelations and upcoming events watch for our newsletters and regular updates on our bulletin board in the lobby.
