We need HELP!

Volunteering for Competitions

The Chatham Figure Skating Club is run by volunteers and there never seems to be enough. Our club is part of the Kent Region which is playing host to two competitions this year. To ensure that each competition is successful, each club in the region is asked to volunteer to help out at the competition. The proceeds from the competitions are divided between the clubs that participate based on how many people from club that participate.  Lets show Chatham's enthusiasm and hospitality!

• Futures West, Wallaceburg, March 7th & 8th, 2009
  Our responsibility:
  - Dressing rooms 2 hr or 4 hr shifts
   

• Deveau/Winfield Synchronized Skating Competition
  Chatham, March 21st & 22nd, 2009
  Our responsibility:
  Judge's room serving meals 2 - 4hr shifts
  Dressing rooms 2 - 4 hr shift
  Facilities setup/tear down 2-4 hr shifts

CHATHAM FIGURE SKATING CLUB SUPPORTS

Operation Red Nose

We are looking for volunteers to help support operation red nose.  All fund raising dollars will directly be applied to ice costs!

We would like 10 teams consisting of 3 individuals per team that are willing to donate their time (~6 hrs) in order to support Operation Red Nose.  If we do not have full teams we will find someone to join or place partial teams on other activities that are required.

Information:

1.   Each 3 member team requires 1 male.

2.   Dates/Times:
9:00 PM – 3:00 AM - Nov 28, 29, Dec 5, 6, 12, 13, 19 20, 26, 27
9:00 PM – 4:00 AM – Dec 31

3.   Each team to make us aware of the dates that they cannot participate before Nov 3.
We will understand our teams scheduling after Nov 10.
